Pedal away from the 9-to-5.

A cozy life sim for fans of Stardew Valley, but instead of a farm you get a bike, a tent and the open roads of Europe. Work, save up, gear up and go bikepacking on real routes.

You live in a small flat in Wrocław, Poland. You have an old folding bike from the basement, 250 zł and one dream: to ride across Europe with everything you need strapped to your bike.

HOW IT PLAYS

• Work, rest, ride. A day at the office wipes you out. Cook dinner, sleep well, keep stress down and train when you can. Energy, stress and fitness all matter.

• Gear up. Panniers, frame bags, tents, a hammock, sleeping bags, a camping stove, a rain jacket, a winter jacket, clipless pedals, better bikes. Everything you buy ends up in your garage, on the shelves and walls.

• Ride real routes. 17 trips, from the hill outside town to the Danube, Alpe Adria, Tuscany's white roads, the Camino de Santiago, Montañas Vacías and all the way around the Baltic Sea on EuroVelo 10.

• Wind, rain and hills. The wind changes every day: a headwind slows you down and eats your energy, a tailwind lets you fly. Climbs tilt the road, descents let you coast. Rain and a headwind together can stop you short of your planned stop.

• Flat tyres happen. Carry a spare tube and a pump and it's a 20-minute fix. Forget them and you're pushing your bike to the next village.

• Nights by the fire. Pitch your tent, cook pasta on your stove and watch the moon cross the sky. Fireflies in summer, falling leaves in autumn, snow in winter.

• Real events on real dates. Almond blossom in the Algarve, Alpenbrevet in Switzerland, L'Eroica in Chianti. Miss the date and you wait a year.

• Meet Kuba. Your mate from downstairs shows you the ropes, rides to work with you, texts you tips on the road... and races you across Europe. Can you get around the Baltic before he does?

• Come back later. Postcards, parcels and invitations wait for you when you return, and the bike shop has a new deal of the day every real day.

Made by a bikepacker and inspired by real trips: Thessaloniki to Istanbul in a tent full of condensation, and my brother's gravel loop from Teruel, when the train simply didn't run.
